Raised in Redding, California, Whitney Adelman received a bachelor’s degree in General Science and Business from the University of Oregon in Eugene. From there, she went on to Samuel Merritt University in San Francisco and earned a second bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
After graduation, Whitney worked for six years as a surgical RN in a busy dermatology practice in Seattle. During that time her passion for dermatology grew. Clinical experience combined with witnessing family members battle skin cancer made her want to contribute more to patients. As a result, she decided to return to school and become a nurse practitioner so she could have a more direct impact on dermatology patients.
Whitney obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle University. She has worked in dermatology since 2012 and has served as a dermatology nurse practitioner since 2017. She loves all aspects of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Whitney joined CK Derm in 2020 and serves as the Aesthetics Director at CK Derm Redding. She is pleased to be back in Northern California, serving dermatology patients in her hometown.
