Mandi is a fifth-generation Humboldt County native with strong roots in the area. She graduated from Humboldt State University, now Cal Poly Humboldt, in 2002 with a BS in Zoology. After college, she worked as a medical assistant in rural southern Humboldt County for three years. This experience spurred her to study and become a physician assistant. She earned her PA degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2008. Upon returning to Humboldt County, she spent 14 years as a physician assistant in primary care, when her interest in dermatology began.
Mandi has trained closely with Dr. Kraffert for over a year and has gained abundant knowledge in dermatology. Her mission is to deliver consistently high-quality dermatology services to Humboldt County residents.
Mandi is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the California Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Mandi married her high school sweetheart, Noah. They have two wonderful children. She is also blessed to have a lot of extended family in the area. She enjoys traveling, exercising, relaxing, and spending time with close family and friends.
